I am excited about what God is doing in our church and in our community. We have increased our prayer efforts as a church these last several months and we are beginning to reap the benefits of prayer and obedience. There are many vital ministries taking place as we endeavor to meet the needs of people in our community.

Our mission for the International Church of the Nazarene is to “Make Christ-like Disciples in the Nations”. For us, that also includes the Texoma area around Sherman. Our goal is to reach out to people in our area and around the world with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the One who has the power to transform lives; spiritually, physically, emotionally, relationally, & financially. Jesus is the One who has the answers to all of life’s needs.

What do you need? I would encourage you to go to him and ask in faith, believing that He has the power to meet your needs. Do you need to come to know Him as your personal Savior? Confess and repent of your sins and invite Him into your heart. Do you have other needs? He is a loving, compassionate friend who desires to help you. But you must ask Him for his help. He never breaks down the door of our life, but says, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:23). He wants to be part of your daily life, but waits for your invitation to be involved.

Jesus loves you. Will you love him back?
